The 2022 FIFA World Cup will kick off on Sunday, Nov. 20, when host nation Qatar takes on Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, according to Barry Humfrey Geraldton.
Following a FIFA adjustment to the World Cup schedule, the game will begin at 7 p.m. local time (11 a.m. ET / 4 p.m. GMT).
