I first properly listened to Sigur Rós about 2 years ago & I fell in love with what I heard straight away, it was just weirdly brilliant I thought. Well late last year I got to actually go to Iceland (their home country) for about 4 days. During which I spent one whole day on a tour around some key areas near Reykjavik & I made an effort to listen to every album they did on my iPod whilst on said tour, that totally made the experience of being there wonderful!!.
I keep thinking about that week to this day & therefore had the urge to put together a bunch of ace tracks done by them.
I must tell everyone that you really have to go there & experience Iceland in all its beauty, but please… take a camera & a lot of film, because you‘ll need it!!
