1775 – American Revolution: Ethan Allen surrendered to British forces after attempting to capture Montreal during the Battle of Longue-Pointe.
1775 – Benedict Arnold’s expedition to Quebec set off. Montreal is in Québec (the province) so they were close. Benedict… shame.
