Sonia Sturino of Weakened Friends joined Behind the Vinyl this week. I was fortunate enough to discover Weakened Friends a few years ago at the Asbury Brewery. They quickly became one of my favorite live acts. I make sure to never miss them when they come to New Jersey. On this episode we talked about the usual topics such as how Sonia got into music, how the band formed, moving to Portland, and the tour life. However, what made this episode so great were some of the deeper topics like anxiety, racism in America, privilege, and so much more. Give Weakened Friends a follow on all social media platforms and make sure to give them a listen!
