At The University of Kansas Cancer Center cancer survivors, co-survivors and researchers work together to design research that may lead to improved treatments and therapies. The program, called Patient and Investigator Voices Organizing Together (PIVOT) is one of the few such cancer center patient research advocacy initiatives in the country. On this episode of Bench to Bedside, hear from breast cancer researcher Dr. Nikki Cheng and Tracy Solis, a member of PIVOT, who are working together on a research project. They will share about their partnership and how Tracy's feedback has helped guide Dr. Cheng's research.
