In this episode, I discuss Law IV of the Four Laws of Quality Care. Law IV states: Provide matched interventions, considering the person’s values and perspectives, while keeping in mind contextual effects. In this episode, we’ll discuss practical ways of developing laser-precision in our practice by effectively matching the interventions we provide with the patient’s life and their symptom irritability. I also discuss how contextual effects fit into the evidence-based practice model, and how some of the best advice I’ve ever heard for PTs is, “Just don’t be an asshole.”
