We all want to live happy, productive lives. But that’s easier said than done. We have a million things going on and sometimes it feels like we’re just trying to keep our head above water.
In today’s episode, I’m going to share my strategies for making things just a little bit easier so we can all live more productive, happier lives. If you’ve been stressed and want to figure out a way to lighten the load a little bit, this episode is for you.
“Asking for help is a talent. Not everyone can do it. And if you get good at asking for help, you will be great at building anything you want.”
In this episode Avani talks about:
Whether it’s contractors, family, or friends: you can’t do it all by yourself. When things get a little too hairy, make sure you ask for help. It’s an easy way to make your life a little less stressful. It takes skill to ask for help properly, so make sure you exercise the talent and don’t abuse it.
Go through your task list and ask yourself if certain things really need to be done or if they align with your long term goals. If you can chop something and everything else would be fine, then do it. This is a quick way to make things easier for yourself.
It might sound strange, but visualizing what “ease” looks like and then applying that feeling to your tasks makes them a lot easier. It’s a simple thing that everyone can do to put your brain in a better place when approaching tasks.
