Have you ever heard the song 'Jesus Loves Me'? I learned the song when I was very small in Sunday School. I remember the delight and joy I felt when I sang it or someone sang it to me.
Over the years it lost its meaning for me. Hurts, loss, pain, disappointment, broken trust. Some of that from fellow Christians. Church hurt may be the worst. You love on other Christians, serve them, trust them but they still hurt you.
