If miracles are the best sign from God of His presence, why is there such confusion? Jesus got everyone's attention by performing the miraculous. The blind could see. The lame walked. Even the dead arose. He was making his point that love is the key.
Many of our clergy seem to think so, despite the fact that nothing in Scripture lends itself to that belief. Is it just ego or is there more behind it?

Joy Gobec asked for a sign. She prayed to Sr. Monica Marie Navin. The nun was a miracle worker. Navin's miracle stories are legendary. Joy needed an intervention on a health issue. Doctors had been stymied over why Joy's body has been vibrating. Virtually every system from head to toe has been vibrating. The heart has been pounding and racing, plus there has been pain shooting down her back. There is a sign in this story, too. A 'knife, fork, and plate' highway sign that said the next exit had restaurants. Kathy Kuack tells the hysterical story of trying to find a bathroom and instead finding a machine gun.
After videotaping her miracle story at WXYZ TV in Detroit, Kuack and Kathy Nemeh were driving back to Cleveland. Nature called. The two ladies followed the 'food' road sign expecting to find relief at a fast food restaurant. No such luck. No food. No bathrooms. Just a dead end road and a machine gun toting woman. And believe it or not, the biggest surprise was yet to come!
