On this episode of BOI Meets Wellness, Evolve Benton interviews Dana Johnson. Dana TherActivist Johnson, MSW (they /them/ theirs) is a native of Oakland, California. Dana currently serves as a LGBTQ Commissioner co-chair for San Mateo County and co-chair of San Mateo County PRIDE Initiative.
Dana has also sat on a Union Board and served as a shop steward for three years, ensuring employees receive their employment rights; and specialized in LGBTQ+ employees' rights and policies. Furthermore, Dana has over seventeen years of experience providing LGBTQ+ advocacy services, social justice services and training to the Bay Area.
