With the forces of death efficiently discarded in the last episode, the living are back at squabbling at each other's throats. Chris is sad that some old friends appear to have left us forever (while still alive). John, meanwhile, has southron ambitions, and Alec is just trying to keep a positive outlook on these things. And they look towards next week where the last war may decide who wins and who dies.
