Today I’m talking about something that really hit home for me… apologizing to ourselves as a mom.

It's those moments when those little thoughts creep in, and you find yourself beating yourself up in your head. What if, instead of that, you allowed yourself to say sorry to yourself? You're a real human being, and you don't deserve to be so harsh on yourself.

Those negative thoughts can impact your body and your energy. So, the key to changing this is to become aware of your thoughts and the way you speak to yourself.

Raise awareness around your thoughts and reframe them. Don't beat yourself up when you make a mistake or forget something. Reparent that inner child, who's whispering that you're dumb, and say, "Oops, I forgot my wallet, but that's okay,I can go back and get it." Be kinder to yourself, just as you are to your kids.
