With Thanksgiving coming up in just a few weeks, I wanted to talk about gratitude. 

Gratitude is how I run. Everyday when I wake up, I write down 10 things I’m grateful for. You guys, this started a huge shift in my mindset. This deeper sense of gratitude that I’ve never felt before has changed my life. 

Sometimes when we see doors closing, we think whatever it is behind that door, is gone. That it is over, will never come back, it’s closed. But most of the time what we don’t know, is what door will open BECAUSE of that. Now, your mind is clear and ready to find the next open door. 

Shift your perspective to being grateful for what’s here now, instead of looking back on the past and filling yourself with regrets. Don’t sit and dwell on the past! The past is exactly that, in the past! The past has shaped you into the person you are now. Use those past experiences, whether positive or negative, and let it drive you into being who you WANT to be. 

Be grateful for every opportunity that you have and teach your kids gratitude as well! Be that shining example of gratitude in your life. We have all learned from our past opportunities, and be grateful in knowing what’s coming. 

Start today by writing down 5 things you’re grateful for today. Find yourself being grateful for all the abundance coming your way.
