Let’s talk about taking the pressure of managing everyone off of yourself. I recently had a chat with a friend about our kids and we ended up discussing how we tend to pick up everyone else's stones, putting ourselves second.

I couldn't help but recall a podcast episode I did before school started, where I shared my stand on not pressuring my kids for straight A's. Instead, I'm all about teaching them to show up as their best selves, letting them be proud of their efforts, regardless of the grades. But, it got me thinking.

My friend, who also ventured into therapy, shared a powerful insight from her therapist. They asked her, 'Why does it matter to you if it doesn't matter to him?'

We often carry unnecessary burdens in life, whether it's pushing our kids to excel or trying to get our partners and loved ones to conform to our own ideals.

We get to choose to let that sh!$ go!

Through breathwork, I've shifted myself from a reactive, micromanaging mom into one who can give my kids the tools to navigate the things life throws their way on their own and I want this for you too.

You have the power to choose how your life looks and feels.

Where are you putting unnecessary pressure on others, and how does it affect you?
You don't have to do it all alone. Let's take that first step together. Talk to you soon!
