Description

I've been on both sides of this over the years. Running Masterminds (group business coaching) and as a participant myself.

If you're wondering if it's worth the investment, here are some of the pros and cons to consider.

Pro:

1.     Learning from the Mastermind leader AND group members

2.     Networking

3.     Cost is least expensive than 1:1 and value is normally high if in the right group

4.     It's a 100% tax right off (even better if you are VAT registered)

Cons:

1.     It's not 1:1 coaching like a consultant, coaching or mentorship program

2.     You can be mile ahead or miles behind the other members if there is no pre-screening for who signs up

3.     It requires time, especially if there is a monthly or quarterly meet up

4.     The accountability is less than 1:1 so if you struggle with execution, this can be a problem
