I am absolutely thrilled to welcome back Laura Fukumoto. You may remember Laura from our Fringe For All episode we did in 2019 where she spoke about the creation of her show "Where the Quiet Queers Are." I knew I had to bring her back on the show and since then we started a budding friendship that I absolutely adore.
Laura is an incredible artist. She tackles every project with grace, power and so much talent. I am in awe of every time I see her work. I sat watching "Where the Quiet Queers Are" and couldn’t find the words to express the joy and happiness of seeing myself represented on stage. Laura welcomed me into her home and we drank tea and chatted about her life, love, and choir. She is a brilliant human and I adore her very much.
