Most of us agree it is good to pray, but how should we pray? I think we have all been at a place in life, probably more than once when we knew we needed to pray, but maybe we didn't know what to ask or to declare over a particular situation. Romans 8:26-27 helps us with this answer. "Likewise the Spirit (Holy Spirit), also helps us in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of Yahweh." When we pray in the Spirit, we pray the will of Yahweh over our situation. Use this gift that we have been given and when we ask, seek, and knock - we will be aligning our prayers with His purpose and plan.
