Let’s look at what a follower of Christ is - a true follower of Jesus Christ- Matthew 4 recounts the call of Christ to Andrew, Peter, James, and John. When Jesus asked them to follow Him it meant:
1) Come follow me for a growing and deepening relationship- not a task or duty- a relationship.
2) Come follow me for a radical reformation because of my influence as a leader in your life = True followers do not remain the same once they start following Christ.
