Lin Ou
Famous for her elaborate embroidery designs at Anthropologie, the American fashion label, and more recently at Robert Redford's own fashion label, Sundance.
Lin is originally from Beijing, the daughter of a diplomat. She left home to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer in the United States almost twenty years ago. She started her journey in Philadelphia and now finds herself in Utah.
We talk about growing up in Beijing, how her parents raised her, the influence her teachers had on her thinking, and the role humility and aggressiveness have played in her life.
