Mara Collard is a board certified music therapist from the Great Lakes Region, currently practicing school based music therapy in the Chicagoland area. Mara is a newer professional in the field and is passionate about helping individuals (with a wide range of abilities) achieve their therapeutic goals through person-centered music therapy interventions. Outside of work, Mara loves writing music with her husband, watching a whole lot of “Survivor,” connecting with others via social media, and dabbles in creating lifestyle and music therapy resource videos on youtube.
