This is a homily that was preached at St. Joseph Parish in Bradention, FL on Friday, May 13, 2011. The readings are from Friday of the Third Week of Easter: Acts 9:1-20 (the conversion of St. Paul) and John 6:52-59 (Bread of Life discourse). CORRECTION: In this homily I errantly refer to "sarx" as the Greek verb meaning "to gnaw or chew" used by Jesus in this gospel reading. Sarx is actually the noun for flesh in Greek, where as the verb is "trogo", however the meaning is the same. I hope you enjoy the homily.
