We explore how the speed of modern tools is erasing the visible proof of design effort, breaking the unspoken contract with stakeholders who no longer see the complexity behind the output. Drawing on Kai Wong’s insights on lost validation and Pierre Burgy’s case for delegating routine tasks to AI, we examine how to redefine value when high-fidelity screens no longer signal expertise. We also tackle the ethical risks of synthetic user data and the accountability gaps in error messaging that emerge when no single owner controls the narrative.
