We explore whether AI’s true value lies in generation or critique, drawing on Tanner Kohler’s view of it as assistive tech and Nick Babich’s method of using Claude Code to spot structural flaws in Figma designs. As execution becomes a commodity, we examine how the industry is shifting from building features to validating strategic judgment and designing systems that machines can actually read. This episode challenges us to stop asking if AI replaces us and start asking how it handles the grunt work so we can focus on the human editorial eye.
