Jesus’ command to show love to those who are most in need of love echoes similar commands throughout the Old Testament. It’s obvious that God’s heart is especially tuned to the needs of the poor. The question for us is who are the “least of these” in the 21st century context, and how can they live out Jesus’ commandment to show love to them
