Description

The great Apostle Paul was quite familiar with this seat. This is where he was brought before Gallio, who was the proconsul of Achaia at the Bema seat (Acts 18:12). This seat was also what Paul referred to in 2 Corinthians 5:9-11 as the “judgment seat of Christ.” In this context, Paul explains to us that this is where the Christian will receive an evaluation for works done in the body, whether good or bad.(2 Cor. 5:9) So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. (2 Cor. 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
