Jesus was paving the way where greater things would come as a result of what He was about to accomplish on the cross. Understandingly, not knowing what lied ahead was a cause of trouble, anxiety, and confusion to the disciples - even us today. However, comfort comes when we understand how Jesus is the way and the truth and the life - this very way being what we should seek to follow and emulate.
