Paul continues to address the question, "Did God fail?" Paul moves through the Old Testament in this passage and shows us how God has used His mercy and people's rebellion to move toward His purpose of fulfilling all His promises. Paul uses this history to not only explain how God has worked, but also to call the readers to respond. Where are you in the plotline of God's purpose?
