Jesus has power to heal and power to save. We obtain this saving power when we, as an act of faith, seek Him and His presence, to bring Jesus into the midst of our life and receive His healing touch to restore the brokenness of our life, to make us whole and complete in Him. Sickness may not always be the direct consequence of a specific sin, but it is spiritual problem as much as it is a physical disease. Thus, getting truly healed is more than just being cured from medical problem, it is part of being saved. It is the work of Christ, the work of the Gospel to save us - that is, to restore our life from sin, the fall, and all its devastating consequences. We are saved by faith - a faith that actively seeks Him, that strives to bring Jesus into every part of our life so that we may experience His healing and restoring touch in all of our being - heart, soul, mind, and strength.
