Big Idea - How precious is the Kingdom of God to us? What is its value? How important is it in our life? What is the evidence of its real worth in practical terms? If it is not the most important and prized treasure in our life, what are we missing? The Kingdom of Heaven is the most valuable treasure any person could possess. But, if that is not our attitude and priority it is proof that we really do not understand the Kingdom and what is at stake. It is proof that we value too much the things of this world and that we do not really understand the incredible nature and worth of the Kingdom. But, missing out on the Kingdom does not mean we just have to settle for a slightly less valuable treasure. Jesus makes it clear that to reject His offer of the Kingdom is to lose all treasure and doom oneself to eternal judgment. Those who do understand the priceless treasure we possess in Christ are to eagerly teach others.
