Paul rebukes Peter and it becomes clear that Paul fight’s this battle because what is at stake is the very core of the Gospel itself! In verse 15-21 Paul gives the theological argument and understanding behind his thinking. These few verses are, therefore, packed with some of the essential doctrines of salvation in Christ and in the true meaning of the Gospel.
