What exactly is the Kingdom of God, and what did Jesus mean that it has come? The Kingdom of God is the reign of God by means of His will, His power, and His presence, which is being restored through the coming of Christ, who has overpowered Satan, and is setting the captives free, through faith in Him. The Kingdom rule of God begins by overcoming the present ruler, Satan, by His unchallenged power. But, the work of winning back the hearts of mankind is not done by force, but through the cross He brings grace and forgiveness for all who will receive His gift with the goal that we will willingly submit to His rule over our life.
