This week we dive into the poem/hymn that is Colossians 1.15--20 (and continue on to 21--23). The section here is to be read as a poem or hymnn or song and in this structure, we learn that Jesus has the authority over creation, death and the church is the apex and method for the deployment of new creation in this world.
