Forgiveness in Christian community operates on three levels: bearing with one another's faults and weaknesses, showing grace to those who wrong us, and actively pursuing restoration of broken relationships. Because God has forgiven us so extravagantly in Christ, we are called to extend that same grace to others, overlook faults, carry one another through struggles, and work hard to mend what is damaged.
