Romans 8:29-30 reveals what has been called the golden chain of salvation: those God foreknew, He predestined, called, justified, and glorified. Because each link connects the same people, none are lost along the way. This means Christian assurance does not depend on human steadfastness but on God's unchanging purpose and faithfulness. Believers can face life and death with confidence, knowing nothing can separate them from Christ's love.
