Daniel 6 reveals how faithfulness to God brings conflict with the world but also delivers those who trust in Him. Daniel's blameless life and persistent prayer cost him everything, yet God shut the lions' mouths and vindicated His servant. This pattern of suffering followed by deliverance points forward to Jesus, who was conspired against, killed, and buried, yet rose victorious over Satan, sin, and death. Believers who trust in Christ share in this victory and can stand firm no matter what the world throws at them.
