Psalm 1 presents two ways to live: the path of the righteous and the path of the wicked. The righteous delight in God's word, flee from sin, and prosper in their relationship with Him like a tree planted by streams of water. The wicked are like weightless chaff blown away, destined for destruction. Yet we cannot achieve this righteousness on our own. Only through Christ, who bore our sins on the tree, can we be planted by living water and walk the path of righteousness. This sermon calls us to examine which path we are on and trust in Christ's righteousness, not our own.
