John 8 reveals that hearing God's voice requires genuine relationship with Him. Sin enslaves and imprisons, but Jesus offers true freedom through faith in Him. The ten commandments show the path to holy living, and the Holy Spirit enables believers to walk in relationship with the Father. Those who belong to God hear what He says, because they are His children in Christ.
