Through the example of Joseph of Arimathea, we see what it means to stand firm in faith even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Biblical hope is not wishful thinking but a certain confidence rooted in Christ's finished work on the cross. Our present sufferings cannot compare to the eternal glory promised to those who belong to Him. This Good Friday, we are reminded that Jesus' sacrifice was deeply personal, and His love for us calls us to patient, faithful living until He returns.
