It's been almost 20 years since the tragic Space Shuttle Columbia disaster, February 2003, to be exact.
It was the second shuttle disaster for NASA, of course, the first being Challenger in January 1986.
In both instances, the review of procedures and cultures brought about significant change. Following Columbia, NASA brought on Dr. Phillip Meade to lead the organizational culture, and he brought upon his colleague, Dr. Laura Gallaher, to assist him in his efforts.
They've written a new book, "The Missing Links: Launching a High Performing Company Culture," and they join us this week on Central Florida: Beyond the Soundbite.
