To open the School Ratna Omidvar answers the question: “Why we are here today?” She sketches out the relevance of the major challenges connected to the themes in today’s (western) societies (racism, diversity, interfaith dialogue, inclusion) disclose the role of civil society actors in tackling these challenges.
