Description

The 2019 season of the CGA-IGC podcast series, Expert Approach to Hereditary Gastrointestinal Cancers, will focus on the management of extra-colonic features of Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, or FAP. FAP is an inherited condition that is primarily characterized by the development of many colon polyps and an increased risk for colon cancer, but there are other aspects of FAP that are also important to be aware of and manage appropriately.

The fourth episode features Dr. James Church, colorectal surgeon, and Dr. Dale Shepard, medical oncologist, both of the Cleveland Clinic. In this episode, they discuss the biology, medical and surgical management of desmoid disease in FAP.
