美国大选的结果早已尘埃落定，可至今还有不少人表示难以接受。随便上网看看，到处都是说这届选举crazy as all get-out的评论，还有不少人直接说Donald Trump crazy as all get-out。
这个as all get-out是非常口语化的表达，在美式英语里尤其常见。简单说来，as all get-out就是to the utmost degree的意思。所以，它一般跟在形容词后面，效果相当于extremely + 该形容词。比如：Once his mind is made up, he can be stubborn as all get-out. 把后半句改成he can be extremely stubborn，意思和效果完全不变。
As all get-out的来源没有定论，为了方便记忆，不妨把all get out理解成全部豁出去。一旦处在全部豁出去的状态，自然是非常极端，也就是extremely。
