很多人都喜欢挂在嘴边的那句：太low了！正是因为我们觉得某件事情太low，我们才不屑于做，right？
当然，“太low”这种中英混杂的Chinglish是我们中国人的发明，native speakers听不懂。但想要表达“某事太low”的这种需求对他们来说显然也是存在的。
那他们通常会怎么说呢？beneath，没错，就是在什么什么之下。比如：Cheating is beneath me. 这里的逻辑其实很简单：如果你是above doing something，那doing something自然是beneath你了。除了doing something，还可以直接说something或者someone。
比如：Obviously, your parents think Adam is beneath you, but he’s your boyfriend, not theirs. So as long as you are happy, that’s all that matters.
