昨天讲到了been there, done that and got the T-shirt。这让我想起另外一个很有趣的跟T-shirt相关的短语。
其实严格说来，它应该算是一个句式。这类句子的开头五花八门，但结尾都是and all I got was this lousy T-shirt。
这个句式的来源没有定论。有人说是1970年上映的著名反战电影MASH（《陆军野战医院》），里面有这么一句台词：Captain Pierce went to Japan and all he got me was this lousy T-shirt. 也有人说是美联社1977年的一篇新闻稿，一位被采访者说：Mom and Dad went to Seattle and all I got was this lousy T-shirt.
无论来源是什么，可以确定的是：这个句式专门用来吐槽雷声大雨点小、结果让人很失望的情形。为了加强喜剧效果，T-shirt也可以换成别的东西，同时lousy可以用dumb、stupid或stinking等等效果类似的形容词代替。
