2 Rush 2 Breath, By Louis Hector

2 Rush 2 Breath is an exercice in contrast that uses the breath of the turbo as a metaphor for an overwhelming atmosphere.
ten mechanic whistles had been tuned and provided with diverse accessories and devices such as digital resonators and shimmering spectral filters, with the constructive principle of using materials used to speed up, improve, and perform. By means of repetition and excess, samples are made up until becoming beautifully alienated.

In this sonic intervention, the velocity and power of the Machine (metaphorically alluded by extrabrilliant high frequencies, high definition sound, heavy side chain compression) become replaced by the representation of the haste and overflow from the cultural field in which we are circumscribed.

For us, urban citizens, this field is characterized by political particularized prominence, media saturation, and the fallacy of a borderless world. The car as the extrapolation of the individual, and his equipped body, but also as a module in a series, is ‘customized’ via the juxtaposition of mechanical tools used to sonically catch your attention.
This contradictory sonic essay lead the listener along a tragic meditation on beauty in alienation.

2 Rush 2 Breath is part of a larger project of highly compressed music production that Hector will later develop under the pseudo 13hdi
