Meet the residents : Wassili Widmer
Echo chamber 1
Supported by: Ville de Bienne, Swisslos Kultur Kanton Bern
co-production: Lumpen Station, Wassili Widmer

Presentation:

In this radio art work, artist Wassili Widmer will deconstruct the phenomenon of the echo chamber. The work explores the themes of voice in the acoustic and political sense, narratives, the myth of Ekho, reverberation as a sound technique and the political phenomenon of echo chamber.  To be heard is a mixture of conversation with theme-relevant guests, experimental sound art, music and poetic pieces with inner monologues.

The first part broadcasting in March explores the topic of voice and narration with the guests Dina Hungerbühler and Sophie Diggelmann. Dina Hungerbühler works at SRF as independent journalist and production assistant and has an MA in law and political science. Sophie Diggelmann studied visual arts at ZHdK and is singer songwriter of the band Velvet Two stripes.
