Happy New Year 2026! Even popular culture takes note of miraculous events. Here's a remembrance from Joe & Lauren Wells.
First of all, full disclosure, I will be reading excerpts of it from the news story by reporter Hollis as well as from the press release by one of the hero's employers.
This is a real event that took place last month on a Sunday evening, December 19, 2021. A married couple, Joe and Lauren Wells began an outing and started driving their children to the movies.
Lauren a registered nurse at the time was 9 months pregnant. As they drove along, she and husband Joe, at the time a Corporal with the Chattahoochee Hills Georgia police department, as they were driving to the theatre, rethought this plan and instead decided a better time would be had if they drove instead to a friends home instead.
