"In these books, the surroundings around the descriptions of landscapes were as important as the characters themselves, and I somehow grew to observe the natural surroundings around me, perhaps view them from the angle of prose, of how I might describe the setting if I were a writer. But most importantly, I learned to appreciate nature. Have any works of fiction or nonfiction inspired you to take more interest in the natural environment around you?"
