"He means so much to those children in Chicago. He's a beacon of light for anyone who wants to climb up out of the south side Inglewood neighborhood of Chicago. Derrick Rose is an amazing human being, an amazing basketball player, and for my money, he did not. A lot of people have this thing that what could have been if not for the injuries or what have you? I think he came and did exactly what he came to do."
