"After joining Louisiana Army National Guard, he graduated from Army Airborne School. And he eventually became a commercial pilot with Trans World Airlines TWA in 1964, flying as a captain on the Boeing 707. And that more conventional part of his career ended in 1972. By the mid-1970s, Seal transitioned into drug smuggling. Initially he transported marijuana across the US border by plane, but by 1978, he escalated to cocaine. Better profit margin, but maybe Skeevier business associates."
